| The Jefferson County
Pioneer Museum is located in
Rigby, Idaho. Rigby is also birthplace of the television.

The Museum has several exhibits including
the Philo Farnsworth exhibit. At age 11, Philo moved with his family to
Rigby. At his uncle's farm he learned how electrical motors
worked. He was amazed at the endless capabilities of the electron. Over
the years over 125 patents were issued to this remarkable man. The
Farnsworth display contains some the earliest works of the great
inventor.

The museum has
several displays that depicts the history of Jefferson County. One of
most popular is the Ormond Big Game Exhibit and the early photo exhibit. |
| An new addition
to the museum is the Robert's Room. Displaying an Indian maiden dress
designed by Wilhelemenia Teton Davila, a Shoshone Bannock Indian.
She is the mother of Randy L. Teton, who is the model for the Sacajawea
coin.
